Green roofs and their benefits

In this year it was approved in Mexico city the dictum of apply 10 % descount in predial tax to whom install green roofs in their homes.

With this advantage it´ll be promoted the creation of green spaces and the participation of the citizen in the environmental care.

Green´s roofs are roofs of a house or a building, partialy or totally cover of vegetation and they give us a lot of big benefics, for example:

• Improve air quality.
  Capture airborne particles such as lead, which are set in the plants and re-entering the atmosphere
• Exchange of oxygen and carbon dioxide
• Retention of rainwater, which causes that the water cycle is not interrupted by avoiding to go to drainage and contamination. 
• Prevent heated buildings, thanks to the absorption of heat and evaporation.
• Be a green space to share and enjoy with other
• Excessive reduction of outside noise
